About
Eduardo Baena joined Northeastern University in 2024 as a postdoctoral researcher. With a Ph.D. in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Malaga (UMA), his professional journey includes various roles in the international private sector from 2010 to 2017. Subsequently, he took on roles as a lecturer and researcher at UMA, contributing to several H2020 projects and acting as a Co-PI on nationally and regionally funded projects. His current research delves into AI-based management of cellular networks, with a focus on the advancements in 5G/6G, cloud and edge computing, OpenRAN, NTN networks, and LEO edge technologies.
