The following plans of study are for current students only. Plans are organized based on term of entry. These plans are samples only- actual curriculum sequences may deviate from these samples. Programs of study are the responsibility of the student. The University Catalog provides a listing of degree requirements for each program, and the DARS system provides a degree audit utility for students.

First-year undergraduate Northeastern students interested in engineering majors may complete the first-year engineering curriculum at multiple locations with all required first-year courses offered.  In addition to the Northeastern University Boston campus, the first-year engineering curriculum is also offered at Northeastern University London via the London Scholars Program, at Northeastern University Oakland via the Interdisciplinary Studies major, and in New York City via the New York City Scholars Program.  Students in London, Oakland, or New York City for their first year who wish to continue their studies in an engineering major must transition to the Northeastern Boston campus for their second year onward.  The first-year engineering curriculum also supports the N.U.in Program experience.

Specific questions about your plan should be directed to your Academic Advisor.

PlusOne Pathway Programs

PlusOne programs allow undergraduate students to earn a Master’s degree with as little as one year of additional study by taking up to four graduate courses as an undergraduate student.

Pathways for each undergraduate degree can be found below by following the link and navigating to the ‘PlusOne Accelerated Master’s Degree’ section. Students in combined majors should refer to the link for their home program. For example, students in the Bioengineering and Biochemistry combined major are eligible for any pathways listed on the Bioengineering page.
